Terms of Service
Last updated: August 21, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Post Something and your participation in a Post Something challenge. Post Something is operated from England. In these terms, “Post Something”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, paying for a challenge, or otherwise using Post Something, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not enter a challenge.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
2. Where Post Something Is Available
Post Something is currently available only to residents of the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada excluding Quebec.
You must provide accurate information about where you live. We may use your declared country, billing address, payment information, and other reasonable signals to confirm eligibility. If you enter from somewhere we do not currently support, we may reject or cancel your entry and refund the amount you paid.
3. The Service
Post Something is a 30-day accountability challenge intended to help you post consistently about your product. It is not a marketing course, growth service, lottery, investment, or promise of reach, revenue, followers, or virality.
You pay a $20 USD challenge fee. This is a fee for the service and is not a deposit. Depending on what happens during the challenge, you may become entitled to a refund as described below.
4. Accounts and Registration
You sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for activity carried out through your Post Something account.
To enter a challenge, you must submit:
- Your product
- The social accounts you intend to use
- Payment of the $20 USD challenge fee through Stripe
Once your challenge has been submitted and paid for, the registered product and social accounts cannot be changed.
5. Challenge Timing
Your challenge lasts for 30 consecutive days. Day 1 begins at the next GMT midnight after you pay. Each challenge day runs from 00:00 to 23:59 GMT.
It is your responsibility to understand how GMT relates to your local time zone.
6. What Counts as a Qualifying Post
On every challenge day, you must publish at least one qualifying post through one of your registered accounts. A qualifying post must:
- Be public
- Be genuinely about your registered product
- Contain genuine content rather than merely posting a link
- Be original for that challenge day
- Remain public for the rest of the challenge
Exact duplicate videos, images, or text posts do not count as original. You may cross-post the same new piece of content across your registered platforms, but reposting old content does not satisfy the daily requirement.
Supported platforms are Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Your posts must also comply with the rules of the relevant platform and must not infringe anyone else’s rights.
7. How We Check
By entering a challenge, you authorise us to inspect the public content published by your registered social accounts for the purpose of running and reviewing your challenge. You provide handles or usernames only. We will never ask for your social-platform password, log into those accounts as you, or post on your behalf.
Checks may be manual or assisted by software and are not guaranteed to happen in real time. Questions such as whether a post is genuine, original, or sufficiently about your product sometimes require reasonable human judgement.
8. Failure and Disputes
Missing a qualifying post on any challenge day ends the challenge. Unless cancellation rights described below apply, you are not entitled to a challenge refund after failure.
We will email you with the date and reason when we identify a failure. If you believe we missed a qualifying post or made a factual mistake, contact us and we will take another look. We may correct genuine errors and reinstate, extend, restart, or refund a challenge where appropriate.
9. Completion and Challenge Refunds
If you successfully complete all 30 challenge days, we will issue a $15 refund to your original payment method on the next working day. Your bank or card provider may take longer to display it.
We may instead refund the full $20 if we think you genuinely made an exceptional effort. That decision is completely and unapologetically subjective. It may reflect some combination of genuine effort, experimentation, and improvement. It is not based on views, likes, followers, revenue, virality, or any other metric outside your control.
There is no published scoring system, no guaranteed number of full refunds, and no right to appeal our decision about the additional $5. This does not prevent you from disputing a factual decision about whether you completed the challenge.
10. Cancelling a Challenge
You may cancel before Day 1 begins for a full refund. Once Day 1 has begun, you may cancel while your challenge is still active by emailing [email protected].
If you cancel an active challenge after Day 1 begins, we will retain an amount proportionate to the part of the 30-day service already supplied. We calculate that amount as:
The remainder will be refunded to your original payment method. The calculation runs from the start of Day 1 until we receive your cancellation request and is rounded to the nearest cent.
Cancellation ends your challenge immediately. You will not qualify for the $15 completion refund or the discretionary additional $5. If your challenge has already ended because you missed a qualifying day, the failure rules apply rather than our voluntary active-challenge cancellation policy, except where mandatory law gives you additional cancellation rights.
If you ask us to begin the service during a statutory cancellation period, you must expressly request that early start at checkout and acknowledge that you may have to pay for the part of the service already supplied. We will not limit any cancellation or refund right that cannot lawfully be limited.
Cancellation refunds will be issued within 14 days of cancellation. Stripe and your bank may take additional time to process or display a refund.
11. Outages and Exceptional Circumstances
Social platforms and other third-party services are outside our control. If Post Something is unavailable, our monitoring fails, a supported platform suffers a substantial outage, or another genuine exceptional circumstance makes the challenge unfair to continue, we may pause, extend, reinstate, restart, or refund the affected challenge.
12. Optional Marketing Permission
During signup, you may separately choose to let us feature your app’s name and logo in Post Something’s own marketing. Giving permission is optional and is not required to use the service.
If you opt in, you confirm that you have the right to give us that permission and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the submitted app name and logo for that purpose. You may withdraw permission by emailing us. We will stop new uses and take reasonable steps to remove the name and logo from marketing materials we control.
13. Privacy and Communications
We use personal information to provide accounts, take payments, operate challenges, check public posts, issue refunds, prevent abuse, and communicate with you. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
Challenge updates, failure notices, security messages, and refund messages are service communications. We will only send optional signup reminders or other promotional emails where we have an appropriate legal basis, and you may opt out of those messages at any time.
14. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use Post Something unlawfully or fraudulently
- Provide false account, residence, product, or social-account information
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the service
- Use automation or other methods intended to falsify challenge compliance
- Abuse, threaten, or harass anyone involved in reviewing challenges
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, or comply with law.
15. Intellectual Property
Post Something, its branding, website, software, and original content belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of them to you.
You keep ownership of your product, logo, and posts. Except for any optional marketing permission you separately grant, these terms give us only the limited permission needed to inspect public posts and operate your challenge.
16. Disclaimers
Post Something is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every social platform.
We do not promise that participating will improve your audience, marketing, product, revenue, or any other outcome. You remain responsible for what you publish and for your use of third-party platforms.
Nothing in these terms excludes statutory guarantees, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or losses caused by third-party platforms or events outside our reasonable control.
Where the law allows, our total liability arising from a particular challenge will not exceed the $20 paid for that challenge.
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms for future use of Post Something. The terms presented when you pay will continue to govern that challenge unless a change is required by law or you expressly agree otherwise. We will communicate material changes where appropriate.
19. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living elsewhere, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the laws of your home country.
